Full job descriptionOur client, an established, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join their expanding team in Chichester, West Sussex.
The role will be worked around 25 hours per week and will involve dealing with the bookkeeping, VAT, preparing management accounts, maintaining financial records and processing and reconciling client data, ensuring deadlines are met.
You will ideally have at least 2-3 years UK bookkeeping experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as AAT Level 4, or working towards this.
A good working knowledge of Xero, Sage, Dext and Hubdocs would be an advantage, along with a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping and various VAT schemes including margin schemes and CIS.
You may also be asked to attend the firm’s other offices or clients’ premises from time to time, so access to a vehicle would be required.
