Finance Manager / Merseyside / £50,000 - £60,000Accountable Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a successful and expanding professional services organisation based in Merseyside to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, hands on, finance manager to join a growing business in a broad role.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships across multiple departments and contributing to both day-to-day finance operations and longer-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts and performance reporting
*Delivering insightful commentary and analysis to support business decisions
*Maintaining financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations and ledger integrity
*Managing cash flow reporting and supporting working capital performance
*Partnering with operational teams to support revenue forecasting and project performance
*Monitoring profitability and analysing business trends to identify opportunities and risks
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning processes
*Assisting with year-end reporting and statutory compliance requirements
*Providing guidance and support to junior members of the finance team
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiencies
*Acting as a key finance contact for stakeholders across the wider business
About YouWe are keen to speak with experienced finance professionals who can combine strong technical ability with a proactive and commercial mindset.
You’ll ideally have:
*Previous experience within a broad SME finance role
*A solid understanding of financial controls, reporting and compliance requirements
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
*Strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems
*The confidence to engage with and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business
*A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
