Our client is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Transport Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments, supporting projects from initial feasibility through to planning and delivery.
You’ll work alongside experienced transport planners and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in transport planning.
The RoleAs a Graduate Transport Planner, you will:
*Assist in preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
*Support the production of technical reports and planning documentation.
*Analyse traffic and transport data using industry-standard software.
*Contribute to junction capacity assessments and traffic modelling.
*Assist with site appraisals and transport feasibility studies.
*Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
*Support senior team members in delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
*Develop an understanding of UK transport planning policy and guidance.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is:
*Educated to degree level in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
*Passionate about transport, sustainable travel and infrastructure.
*A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
*Analytical with good problem-solving abilities.
*Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Office applications.
*Eager to learn and develop within a collaborative environment.
*Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
