Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client based near Melton Constable.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established food production company, manufacturing high-quality food products in a clean and friendly working environment. Please note this role does not involve handling or processing meat products. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
Duties will include:*Filling, decorating and finishing a variety of cakes produced by the bakery.
*Applying collars, labels and seals to finished cakes ready for dispatch.
*Ensuring all products are finished to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
*Working at speed to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
*Carrying out quality checks throughout the production and finishing process.
*Cleaning and sanitising cake decorating equipment and work areas after use.
*Completing end-of-day cleaning duties within the bakery.
*Following strict food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
*Working effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements.
*Carrying out other general bakery and production duties as required.
About You:
*The successful candidate will have excellent hand speed, good manual dexterity and exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience within a bakery, food production, factory or catering environment is essential.

*Previous food production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
*Good reliability and timekeeping

*Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
*Safety boots
*Own transport due to the rural location
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
£12.71 per hour (PAYE)
£14.24 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay)

8:00am – 5:00pm
