Full job descriptionA growing and innovative pensions consultancy looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join its expanding actuarial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career actuary to gain broad exposure across pensions consulting, actuarial modelling and client advisory work while working closely with experienced consultants and senior leaders.
About the Role *Support the delivery of actuarial advice to pension schemes, trustees and sponsoring employers
*Perform actuarial calculations, modelling and data analysis
*Draft client reports, presentations and recommendations
*Attend client meetings and develop consulting skills
*Assess the impact of legislative, demographic and market changes on pension schemes
*Contribute to internal projects and process improvements
About You *Strong academic background with a degree in a numerate subject
*Experience within pensions or actuarial work is advantageous
*Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
*Proactive, curious and eager to develop professionally
