Full job descriptionA well-established and growing food manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee its warehouse operations across multiple sites near Thirsk.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with a strong background in food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced warehouse environment, who enjoys leading teams and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and motivate a warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
*Oversee goods in, goods out, stock control and inventory accuracy.
*Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards.
*Liaise with suppliers and support production through effective materials management.
*Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and audit records.
*Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce waste.
We’re looking for someone with:
*Previous Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Management experience.
*Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
*Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and logistics.
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
*A valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence (essential).
*A full UK driving licence (essential).
