Axon Moore have partnered with a PE Backed business in Leyland which has witnessed significant growth in recent years whilst they seek to bolster the finance team with the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Assistant able to hit the ground running and add value across the business.

A generous starting salary is on offer up to £30,000 and there is scope to become involved with wider areas of the accounts team. The team is friendly and down to earth which is well suited to a chatty and personable candidate.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
*Be the first point of contact for purchase ledger telephone queries
*Checking pricing on invoices and query when necessary
*Check delivery notes quantities and dates to match supplier invoices
*Liaise with other departments to resolve queries on pricing and delivery
*Post invoices and credit notes
*Chase payments when necessary
*Issue and check monthly statements
*To provide administrative support to the Finance Manager
Required Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience working within an accounts department preferred
*Strong admin and IT Skills
*Experience working on Sage 50 is desirable
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good telephone manner
*Enthusiastic and eager to learn
