Are you a Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking for your next opportunity in education?
We’re recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking LSAs to support pupils across schools in Newport. Whether you’re looking for long-term placements or flexible supply work, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference while working in supportive school environments where your skills and enthusiasm are valued.
The Role
Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Help deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher
Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
Support pupils with a range of learning needs
Assist with classroom preparation and daily learning activities
Communicate confidently through the medium of Welsh where required
Who We’re Looking For
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience working with children or young people is essential (school, childcare, coaching, youth work, tutoring, placements or volunteering)
Positive, patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
