Full job descriptionJob title: Student Safety Team Member
Start date: ASAP
End Date: 30/09/26 (could be extended)
Shifts: 37.5hrs per week (5 days out of 7)
Shift time: 10pm – 7am
Hourly Rate: £16.66ph
Student safety team member required for Student accommodaion sites in Durham.
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as a positive brand ambassador.
*Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students.
*Maintain consistent, high-quality service throughout the night.
*Keep students and the building safe, responding to emergencies and vulnerable situations.
*Handle overnight incidents, including noise complaints, lock-outs, fire alarms, flooding, and system failures.
*Work with security to protect residents and the property.
*Keep shared areas clean and tidy.
*Support other properties during major incidents when required.
*Build relationships with students and signpost them to appropriate support.
*Respond to individual student needs and escalate welfare concerns when necessary.
*Act on student feedback and resolve or escalate issues promptly.
*Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
*Complete required safety checks and respond appropriately to emergencies.
*Maintain a clean, well-maintained environment.
