We are recruiting a Communications & Engagement Officer on behalf of a well-established regional organisation with a strong reputation and an extensive network of stakeholders across the West Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive communications professional who enjoys building relationships, engaging with people and bringing complex topics to life through clear, meaningful communication.
The RoleThis is a varied role combining communications, stakeholder engagement, research and external relationship management.
You will play a key role in gathering insight from a wide range of stakeholders, identifying emerging issues and communicating important information through a variety of channels.
Responsibilities will include:
*Developing and delivering engaging communications content
*Producing articles, reports, briefings and stakeholder updates
*Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
*Attending meetings, events and networking activities
*Gathering market intelligence and identifying emerging trends
*Supporting research projects and analysing findings
*Translating technical, regulatory or policy-related information into clear and accessible messages
*Acting as an ambassador for the organisation at external events and forums
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, commercially aware and enjoys engaging with a wide range of people.
You may come from a communications, engagement, stakeholder relations, public affairs, membership, research or business support background.
You will have:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*The ability to simplify complex information for different audiences
*Strong relationship-building skills
*Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
*A proactive and professional approach
*Strong organisational and project management skills
