Management AccountantLocation: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (WFH Every Friday)
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment With A Strong Chance To Go Permanent
Salary: Circa £50,000 (Equivalent)
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading Media company based in London on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can take ownership of the monthly management accounts process from start to finish and make an immediate impact within a busy finance team.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts from start to finish
*Month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and journals
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Variance analysis and commentary
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Cash flow reporting and forecasting
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
*Business partnering with key stakeholders across the business
*Assisting with audit requirements and year-end processes
*Identifying and implementing process improvements
Requirements*Proven experience as a Management Accountant
*A strong self-starter
*Ability to produce management accounts independently from start to finish
*Strong knowledge of VAT and experience preparing VAT returns
*Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Available immediately or at short notice
Desirable Experience*Previous experience within a Media, Advertising, Publishing, Entertainment, Broadcasting, or Creative business
*Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
