Senior Estimator
Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 + package

The Role
You will join a busy preconstruction team working on a mix of new build, refurbishment, alteration and fit-out projects up to £20m. Work spans multiple sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Community, Industrial, Leisure & Retail and Commercial Buildings. Working hours: 8.30am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.
A key part of the role will include mentoring and supporting an Assistant Estimator, helping them develop their technical skills, commercial awareness and confidence within the team.
Responsibilities
*Preparing cost plans, tenders and estimates
*Leading the estimating process across multiple projects
*Working closely with design, commercial and operational teams
*Liaising with supply chain partners to secure competitive pricing
*Providing guidance and day-to-day support to an Assistant Estimator
*Supporting junior team members where required
About You
*Experienced Estimator within the construction industry
*Background working for a main contractor on new build or refurbishment schemes
*Self-directed, organised and highly motivated
*Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Strong team player with good communication skills
