Our client is an established and highly respected electrical contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects across the South East.
Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of exciting projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their successful commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious estimator who enjoys working within a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in securing new business.


The Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a wide range of electrical installation projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Producing detailed and accurate electrical estimates from drawings and specifications.
*Reviewing tender documentation and identifying project requirements.
*Carrying out take-offs and preparing cost plans.
*Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
*Preparing comprehensive tender submissions within agreed deadlines.
*Liaising with clients, consultants and the internal delivery team.
*Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
*Supporting successful project handovers to the operations team.
About You

We’re looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.
*Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
*The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
*Strong negotiation and communication skills.
*Experience using estimating software (advantageous but not essential).
*A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
