Description


As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients and leading audit engagements from planning through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.
*Leading audit assignments and ensuring delivery to budget and deadline.
*Reviewing audit files and providing technical guidance to teams.
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients and developing strong working relationships.
*Advising clients on accounting and financial reporting matters.
*Identifying opportunities to expand services and support business development activities.
*Managing, mentoring and developing junior team members.
*Supporting recruitment, training and performance management initiatives.
*Assisting partners and directors with project work and strategic client engagements.


Profile


To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
*Strong external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
*Previous experience managing audit assignments and leading teams.
*Good knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and/or IFRS.
*Experience working with a range of corporate clients.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*A proactive and commercial approach to client service.
*A passion for coaching and developing junior colleagues.
