Our client, a highly respected international professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their collaborative finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee the monthly and quarterly financial reporting while supporting the preparation of consolidated financial information. You’ll also manage statutory reporting, coordinate annual audits and budgets, and help drive process improvements across the finance function.
This role combines strong technical accounting responsibilities with leadership, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their management experience within an international environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Lead the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly reporting
*Coordinate annual budgets, statutory financial statements, and external audits.
*Review general ledger postings and ensure financial accuracy across international entities.
*Prepare and manage rolling cash flow forecasts.
*Oversee bank and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and sign-off.
*Support debt collection and credit control activities.
*Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and systems.
*Deputise for the Finance Manager when required.
*Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to members of the finance team.
You’ll ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in financial reporting.
*Previous experience supervising or mentoring finance staff.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Advanced Excel skills - particularly Power BI
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
*A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiencies.
