Certain Advantage is hiring for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer based in the Southwest area.
This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:
This role is for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
*Technical leadership on control and instrumentation systems,
*Supporting asset lifecycle management,
*Developing modifications and upgrades,
*Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements.
The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
*Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
*C&I engineering within a highly regulated industry.
*Industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and functional safety.
*Producing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications and design documentation.
Desirable Attributes:
*Understanding of safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance requirements.
*Experience with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards.
*Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Experience working in defence, energy, infrastructure or process industries.
