Location: West Midlands
Pay Rate: £14ph
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday- 6am to 2pm


We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Machine Operator to join a well-established and respected structural steel manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. You’ll be responsible for operating steel processing machinery to produce high-quality structural steel components, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities*Set up and operate steel machining equipment.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Process structural steel sections accurately to required specifications.
*Carry out quality checks throughout production.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.


Requirements*Previous experience operating machinery within the structural steel or steel fabrication industry is essential.
*Experience with steel machining equipment such as drilling, sawing, beam lines, or CNC machinery is highly desirable.
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
*A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
