The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for several enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join Westbridge Academy on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive primary academy where you’ll play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Successful candidates will work closely with class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential, with opportunities to support children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within the classroom. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities*Support teaching and learning by working with individual pupils, small groups, and whole classes.
*Assist class teachers in delivering engaging learning activities and promoting positive behaviour.
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Requirements*Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
*Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
*Strong communication skills with a patient, proactive, and caring approach.
