I’m working with an established and growing business in Central London that is looking to appoint a Group Accountant to join its high-performing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys technical accounting, group reporting and working closely with senior stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while supporting a range of business-critical projects.
The RoleAs Group Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:
*Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and group reporting.
*Producing statutory financial statements and supporting the year-end audit process.
*Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.
*Supporting the month-end and year-end close.
*Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
*Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
*Working closely with senior finance leaders on ad hoc projects and business initiatives.
About YouYou’ll ideally have:
*ACA, audit background preferred.
*Experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant or Audit position.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge.
*Excellent Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
