Location: Rushden
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently recruiting for Recycling Sorting Operatives on behalf of our well-established client based in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals to join a dedicated team within the recycling and waste management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general yard labouring tasks in an outdoor environment.
Sorting recyclable materials (such as plastic, wood, metal, and paper) from general waste on a moving conveyor system.
Ensuring all waste is correctly segregated and stored in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.
Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and adhering to strict housekeeping standards.
Complying with all site Health & Safety rules and regulations at all times.
Identifying and reporting any contamination or hazardous materials to supervisors.
Assisting with manual handling tasks, loading/unloading, and other site duties as required.
Skills and experience:
Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment (preferred but not essential).
A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves standing for long periods and manual handling.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Good attention to detail and a safety-first attitude.
Working Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm
£13.00 per hour
