The Company
Our client is a leading infrastructure organisation at the forefront of supporting the global energy industry, operating and investing in critical assets that keep economies connected, businesses powered and energy flowing across international markets. As a key player within the energy and utilities sector, the organisation is helping to shape the future of energy security, infrastructure resilience and the transition to a more sustainable energy landscape.
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior FP&A Analyst to join a high-performing finance team supporting a strategically important area of the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and operations, you will play a key role in delivering financial insight, performance reporting and planning activities that support both operational and long-term strategic decision-making.
The position will focus on the delivery of high-quality management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance against objectives. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes while supporting senior management with business cases, investment decisions and performance reviews.
Acting as a trusted business partner, you will provide meaningful financial insight to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, helping to drive informed decision-making across the organisation.
This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to decisions that support critical infrastructure within an evolving and highly visible sector.
About You
We are keen to speak with ambitious qualified or finalist finance professionals who can demonstrate proven experience within FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting and performance analysis.
You will possess strong management accounting and financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential, as you will regularly partner with senior business leaders and build credible relationships across multiple functions.
Candidates should have advanced Excel and financial modelling experience, with exposure to Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting tools viewed favourably. A proactive, commercially focused approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment are also key requirements.
Applicants should be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or be approaching qualification with no more than two professional exams remaining.
