*Location: Plymouth, Devon (Multiple school sites available)
*Salary: £92.56 - £95.00 per day
*Contract Type: Temporary / Supply / Temp-to-Perm
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term-time only)

Your Role as a Supply Teaching AssistantWorking standard school hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, you will support primary school pupils across Plymouth with their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
*Working 1-on-1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support in reading, writing, and maths.
*Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children from Reception to Year 6.
*Adapting quickly to different school environments and team dynamics.
RequirementsYou do not need a formal teaching qualification to apply, but experience working with young people is essential. We highly value transferable skills from various backgrounds.
*Experience: Proven experience working with children or young people (e.g., in youth clubs, sports coaching, nurseries, care or volunteering).
*Hours: Ability to commit to the 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM schedule.
*Key Skills: Excellent communication, patience, reliability, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
*Vetting: Must hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to process a new one through Randstad.
