Hays Education is working in partnership with a rapidly improving secondary academy in Bradford to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join their team from September 2026 until Christmas 2026. There is strong potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract and, for the right candidate, become a permanent appointment.

The RoleThe successful candidate will:
*Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of English.
*Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
*Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and English department.
*Create a safe, supportive and purposeful learning environment where all students can thrive.

*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

*The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
