Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated SENCO looking to make a real impact?
We’re working with a specialist SEND School in Greenwich that is urgently looking for an motivated and inspiring SENCO to join their dynamic team.
What you’ll be doing:
*Lead the strategic development and delivery of SEND provision across the school
*Coordinate day-to-day SEND support and ensure effective provision for all pupils
*Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice, legislation and inclusive practice
*Support and advise staff on high-quality teaching strategies for pupils with SEND
*Monitor pupil progress, analyse data and drive improved outcomes
*Oversee EHC plans, interventions and targeted support for individual needs
*Lead, develop and deploy SEND staff, including training and performance input
*Manage relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupils
*Maintain accurate records, assessments and SEND administration systems
*Promote safeguarding, inclusive practice and a safe learning environment for all pupils
What we need from you:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
*Previous experience in a SENCO role in a SEND provision
*Hold the NASENCO qualification
*Experience of working with children and young people with SEND
*Excellent communication skills
