Full job descriptionOur client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to support Financial Advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions. As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a vital role in the financial planning process, preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant advice.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters
*Gathering and analysing client information
*Researching financial products and solutions
*Obtaining information from pension providers and third parties
*Supporting Financial Advisers throughout the advice process
*Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
*Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changes
*Working closely with administrators and other team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
*Experience writing suitability reports
*A strong understanding of financial planning products and advice processes
*DipPFS qualification (or working towards it) is desirable
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills
*Exceptional attention to detail
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using financial planning software being advantageous
