Our client is an established and highly regarded commercial law firm based in Reading, with an excellent reputation throughout the Thames Valley and strong Legal 500 rankings across multiple practice areas.
The firm is seeking an experienced Private Wealth Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its successful Private Wealth team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Private Client Solicitor to work with a high-quality client base, advising high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on complex wealth planning and succession matters.
You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, providing expert advice across a broad range of private wealth matters, with the opportunity to develop client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You will advise on a varied caseload of medium to high-net-worth private client matters, including:
*Drafting and advising on complex Wills
*Estate administration for high-value estates
*Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Trust creation, administration and termination
*Estate and succession planning
*Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax considerations relating to trusts and estates
*Business succession planning for entrepreneurs and business owners
*Family Investment Companies
*Advising clients on long-term wealth preservation strategies
You will also be encouraged to build strong client relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
*A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE gained within a Private Client or Private Wealth team
*Experienced advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex wealth planning matters
*Confident handling sophisticated Wills, trusts, estate planning and tax-related matters
*Commercially aware with excellent client relationship skills
*Proactive, ambitious and keen to play a key role within a growing Private Wealth team
