Circa £450-£500/day (Outside IR35)

London (Hybrid)


We are supporting a high growth, international Tech business in the search for an Interim Finance Business Partner to provide additional support during a key budgeting and forecasting period.


This is an initial 3 month contract, with the potential to extend depending on business requirement.


Working closely with senior Finance and operational stakeholders, this person will play a key role in supporting the budgeting process across Opex, headcount and central business functions.


The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Finance team, responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the end to end budgeting and forecasting process across Opex and headcount.
*Partnering with senior stakeholders across central functions to provide financial insight and challenge.
*Consolidating headcount and overheads across a number of business areas.
*Preparing analysis, variance commentary and first draft outputs for senior review.
*Reviewing data, identifying issues and suggesting practical solutions.
*Supporting month end where required during the budgeting cycle.
*Helping improve reporting, planning and budgeting processes where capacity allows.
*Working closely with the wider Finance team to deliver accurate, timely and useful analysis.


About You
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced commercial environment.
You will ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent.
*Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
*Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.
*Good experience across Opex, overheads and headcount planning.
*Advanced Excel skills, with Power Query / pivot table experience useful.
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders.
*The ability to analyse data, write clear commentary and make sensible recommendations.
*A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
*Experience working within a growing, international or commercially driven business.
