The Opportunity
Exciting role where the first year of your energy will be focused on managing a significant investment on transformation of the businesses IT infrastructure and systems. You’ll be a key bridge between all commercial and operational areas and playing a lead role in overhauling the existing software / systems to better suit the needs of a business which is rapidly expanding.
You’ll be working with external consultants to embed a fit for purpose ERP to ensure the business has sophisticated and modern systems that connect the dots across the group.
There is an element of BAU financial reporting and ultimately there is an opportunity for this role to become finance director for the right person. However if your skillset is business transformation / system integration then this could well be an exciting 2 year project (which you would then hand over to an FD once the bulk of the transformation is completed).

You need to be a capable leader of change. Someone who has previously been through a project aimed at assessing fit for purpose software / ERP solutions for a reasonably complex and ambitious SME (current turnover circa £30m).
You will be a collaborate project manager with excellent communication skills and a measured but proactive approach to problem solving.

Required:
*Previous experience of embedding an ERP / sophisticated software / systems within a growth business.
*Excellent relationships building skills.
*Ability to ensure a project is managed on time and on budget working with internal and external stakeholders.
*Ideally a background in finance and associated qualifications (CIMA or equivalent).
*Ability to navigate complex problems and a calm and methodical approach to finding a solution that works for the business and the leaders across commercial and operational areas of a business.
*Confidence and ability to handle ambiguity – you’ll be someone who loves being part of positive change.
