Full job descriptionReed Accountancy are proud to be working with an established company based in Wakefield who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a standalone position where you will build relationships with existing and new clients whilst delivering strong collection results.
Responsibilities:
*Effective collection of all debts and customer payments
*Negotiate repayment plans
*Check customer credit ratings
*Raise miscellaneous invoices and credits
*Approve sales orders
*Provide account information
*Resolve external and internal queries regarding invoices
*Maintain contract with clients to ensure invoices are ready for payment
*Post and allocate daily receipts
*Provide information to invoice finance providers
You will need to demonstrate:
*Previous experience within a Credit Control or similar position
*Experience with Oracle NetSuite (desirable)
*Solid understanding of accounting principles
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
