18-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Part-Time
Fully onsite
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:15am–3:00pm
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro rata
A financial services firm are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable assistant to to join their team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to support the business during the implementation of a new finance system.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process and manage the registration and payment of supplier invoices.
*Prepare weekly cash flow requirements, advising the Finance Director of payment needs by currency.
*Code invoices accurately to the appropriate cost centres and departments using the SUN accounting system.
*Provide information to support quarterly VAT returns.
*Recharge Head Office costs to business units.
*Arrange foreign currency conversions where required.
*Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting financial data.
*Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy finance environment. Experience of SUN accounting software would be advantageous but is not essential.
