The Successful Candidate Will Have:*Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a similar education role within UK schools
*A minimum of 1 year’s experience supporting children in a classroom environment
*Experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally within SEN, SEMH or Alternative Provision settings (desirable but not essential)
*Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
*A patient, consistent and resilient approach when supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
*The legal right to work in the UK
*Availability to start full-time from 1st September 2026
What the School Offers:*£95 - £115 per day, depending on experience
*Full-time, long-term temporary contract with the potential to become permanent
*A welcoming and highly supportive staff team
*Small class sizes allowing for meaningful pupil support
*Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
*A trauma-informed, relationship-based approach to behaviour and learning
*Dedicated support from your Tradewind Recruitment consultant throughout your placement
If you’re passionate about helping children who need additional support and are looking for a role where you can make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Interviews and trial days are taking place now, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
