Financial Accountant - 12-Month FTCWe are recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading insurance business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic finance team, supporting financial reporting, regulatory requirements and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and deliver accurate financial reporting in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
*Support month-end and year-end close processes.
*Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
*Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and business analysis.
*Work closely with stakeholders across finance to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
*Contribute to process improvements and support wider finance projects where required.
Skills & Experience
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
*Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
*Previous experience within the Lloyd’s or General Insurance market.
*Strong financial and data modelling skills.
*Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
