Full job descriptionFinancial Accountant (12-Month FTC)We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while supporting business growth and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare month-end financial close processes, including technical accounts and bank reconciliations.
*Prepare and perform quality assurance of bordereaux.
*Support the expansion of European entities, helping establish and improve finance processes as the business grows.
*Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate existing finance processes and reporting.
*Provide support across the finance function and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in Insurance
*Part Qualified or time served
*Strong technical accounting background with experience in technical accounting and/or credit control.
*Experience preparing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Knowledge of bordereaux preparation and technical finance processes is highly desirable.
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data.
