Operations Manager required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience in a production environment as well as strong management skills.
Operations Manager Job Overview
*Manage all manufacturing operations across welding, fabrication, assembly and warehouse functions.
*Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
*Lead daily production meetings and coordinate activities across departments.
*Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery requirements.
*Manage purchasing and material planning activities.
Operations Manager Job Requirements
*Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role.
*Automotive experience.
*Experience within fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environments.
*Strong knowledge of production planning and supply chain processes.
*Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement training.
*Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Operations Manager Salary & Benefits
*Salary: £45,000- £55,000
*Working hours - Monday - Friday 8-4
*25 days holiday + bank hols
*Auto enrolment pension
*Death in Service - up to 3 x annual salary
*WeCare benefit
*Onsite parking
