Full job descriptionHW Finance are partnering with a well performing business in Leeds to recruit a Management Accountant.
The group is in a period of rapid expansion with an impressive finance function that has grown considerably over the last 4 years with candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
This is an exciting time to join for someone who is part way through their studies (ACA/ACCA/CIMA will all be considered) who wants to build on their reporting experience in a fast paced, high performing environment.
You’ll get full ownership of the below:
*Preparation / review of key monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Preparation of management accounts
*Assist with annual statutory accounts process and delivering the external audit
*Assist in the preparation and review of monthly VAT returns
*Project work – system changes, banking analysis, capital allowances workings, VAT reviews etc


You’ll also support the Commercial Finance Manager with bridging the gap between site performance, and the numbers reported in the MI and year end accounts


The business work predominantly on site but are easily commutable from East/North Leeds, Wakefield and parts of York.
Salary up to £35,000 + benefits including an annual bonus.
