Job Description:
Full job descriptionKeeler Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and growing FMCG business to recruit a commercially focused finance professional into a newly created succession opportunity.
This is not a traditional financial control or reporting role. Instead, we are seeking an individual who can help shape business strategy through insightful analysis, commercial challenge and forward planning, whilst building towards a future Finance Director position.
Working closely with the owner and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in understanding business performance, supporting strategic decisions and helping drive the next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
The business has an established finance function responsible for the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities. This role is focused on providing the insight behind the numbers.
You will act as a trusted business partner, helping the leadership team understand trends, identify opportunities, assess risks and make informed commercial decisions.
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious business where your contribution will be visible and valued, with genuine scope to progress into a broader leadership role over time.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
*Develop financial models, business cases and investment appraisals
*Analyse performance, profitability and key commercial drivers
*Deliver meaningful management information, KPIs and insight
*Support strategic decision-making through scenario planning and analysis
*Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance improvements
*Identify opportunities to enhance profitability, efficiency and cash generation
*Support growth initiatives, new business opportunities and capital investment decisions
*Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape future business strategy
About You
We are keen to speak with ambitious finance professionals who combine strong analytical skills with commercial awareness and a desire to influence business performance.
You will likely possess:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
*Experience within commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering or strategic finance
*Strong forecasting, modelling and analytical capabilities
*The ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
*A commercially minded approach with excellent communication skills
*A desire to develop into a future Finance Director role
Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food production or other operationally focused environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
What’s on Offer?
*A genuine succession opportunity with long-term career progression
*Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making
*A high-impact role within a growing and ambitious business
*Competitive salary, bonus and benefits package
*Flexible working arrangements alongside a collaborative office culture
