Job Description:
Full job descriptionA well-established international manufacturing organisation is looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to its UK IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on technical role covering server support and some infrastructure, security, Microsoft technologies and end-user computing within a growing business.
You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation’s IT environment, working across:
*Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy)
*Server, storage, backup and monitoring infrastructure
*Server patching, security hardening and vulnerability remediation
*Virtualisation technologies (VMware/vSphere)
*Desktop and laptop support
*Endpoint management and device support
*Backup and disaster recovery processes
*Technical documentation and asset management
*BAU support and ticket resolution within agreed service levels.
If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET’S TALK!
*Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer role
*Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
*Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
*Experience with server administration and infrastructure support
*VMware / vSphere / ESXi
*Veeam Backup & Replication is advantageous but not essential.
*Multi-site or remote user support
*Working with international IT teams
