Full job descriptionResourcery Group are supporting a organsiation in Liverpool who are looking for an experienced People Advisor to join their friendly and supportive HR team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a great team, supporting a variety of business areas across the organisation. No two days are the same! This role needs someone who enjoys building relationships, providing practical HR advice, and working closely with managers to deliver positive people outcomes.
You’ll be the trusted HR contact for your business areas, offering expert guidance on employee relations, absence management, performance, recruitment, and a wide range of people matters. A strong background in employee relations is essential, along with the confidence to advise, coach and support managers at all levels.
To help you settle into the role, there will be a comprehensive handover before the maternity leave begins and again at the end of the contract.
What we’re looking for:*CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong employee relations experience
*Confident advising, coaching and supporting managers
*Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
*A proactive, practical approach to HR
*Ability to travel between sites in Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens when required
What you’ll receive:*Salary circa £36,500 (pay award pending)
*25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
*Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

*Comprehensive handover and ongoing support
While this role is offered as a 12-month maternity cover, there may be longer-term opportunities in the future. For now, we’re looking for someone who is excited to make a real impact over the course of the contract.
