We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician I for a premier 12-month contract with Thermo Fisher Scientific at their Loughborough (Bakewell Road) site.
What’s in it for you?*Great Pay: £13.20/hr (AWD/AWR Salary Equivalent of £24,258)
*Shift Premium: Plus 14% shift allowance!
*Shift Pattern: Days (Mon-Fri), alternating weekly between 06:00 - 14:00 and 13:45 - 21:45 (37.5 hours per week).
*Stability: Secure, long-term 12-month contract with full PPE provided.
*Fast Process: Stage 1 onsite interview with the hiring manager-starting ASAP!
The Role:In this physical and active role, you will pack chemicals, use measuring/weighing equipment, update computer-based tracking systems, and ensure all packs are safely sealed, labeled, and palletized in line with safety and UN regulations.
What we are looking for:*Physically fit, reliable, and highly motivated individuals.
*Ability to follow strict safety and environmental procedures.
*Basic computer literacy for logging completed transactions.
*High attention to detail (matching batch and chemical code numbers).
