Job Description:
Full job descriptionKennethBrian Associates are working with a longstanding client based in the heart of Epsom who are searching for an Assistant Accountant to join a well established Finance team.
This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across multiple reporting areas, providing a great opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key duties of the role:
*Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
*Manage online bank access and account maintenance.
*Assist with the preparation of the weekly short-term cash-flow forecast.
*Assist with the preparation of the management accounts for the Group Holding Companies.
Other Responsibilities:
*Support the wider Group Finance team with department deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in an accounts or finance department at an accounts assistant level (AAT).
*Excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with all levels of the business.
*Well-organised, flexible, and able to respond to changing deadlines and requests.
*Strong sense of ownership and pride in your work.
*Ability to work independently and support the wider team.
*Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and data linking.
