Location: Thame
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. Due to the location of the site, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
This is a hands-on and varied role within a team of 7 warehouse professionals. The successful candidate will be flexible in their duties, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to support all areas of the warehouse operation as required.
A Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be beneficial but is not essential as training may be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
*Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
*Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to process stock movements.
*Checking incoming and outgoing orders against delivery notes and purchase orders.
*Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries.
*Conducting quality checks on products and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
*Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring they are packaged to company standards.
*Labelling, wrapping and palletising stock for shipment.
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
*Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stock counts.
*Supporting regular inventory checks and stock reconciliation activities.
*Ensuring warehouse areas are kept clean, organised and safe at all times.
*Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
*Assisting with goods-in, goods-out and returns processes.
*Operating warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
*Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
*Supporting other departments where required.
*Carrying out general warehouse housekeeping duties.
*Being flexible and willing to undertake additional tasks as business needs require.
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
*Full UK driving licence and own transport due to location.
*Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is advantageous.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
*Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling tasks.
*Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
*Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
Desirable
*Counterbalance Forklift Licence (beneficial but not essential).
*Previous experience in picking, packing or goods-in/goods-out operations.
*Experience working within a logistics, distribution or warehouse environment.
