Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Chatham from September 2026.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 pupilS with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support and create a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will:*Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, preferably within a primary school setting.
*Be confident providing 1:1 support for a lower ability KS2 pupil.
*Be patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
*Work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
*Be committed to promoting inclusion and supporting pupils to make progress.
