Full job descriptionOur client, Reading Council, is seeking an agency Team Manager for its Children and Young People Disability team.


This post will last at least 6 months.


And it’s paid at £47.50 per hour.

The role will involve the following:
*Managing and supervising social workers
*Oversight of cases
*Safeguarding and risk management
*Multi-agency partnership working
*Performance and quality assurance
*Child Protection and CIN for Disabled Children
*Social Care assessments, Short breaks and respite services, direct payments and personal budgets.
*Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)


Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have significant experience managing social work staff.
*Ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge of working with disabled children
