The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional looking to take the next step in their career with a company that values leadership, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
As the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives.
*Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
*Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across the shift.
*Monitor product quality and ensure all procedures and standards are followed.
*Coordinate staffing levels and allocate work effectively.
*Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive process efficiencies.
*Work closely with engineering, quality and warehouse teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
*Complete shift handovers, production reports and relevant documentation.
*Support the training and development of team members.
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader position within a manufacturing environment.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*Experience working to production KPIs and targets.
*A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
*Good communication and organisational skills.
*Knowledge of Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing.
*Comfortable working a continental shift pattern.
