We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Chef to work in a busy hotel in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking for flexible work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with hotel standards.
*Assisting with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and function service as required.
*Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
*Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
*Ensuring stock is handled correctly and minimising waste.
*Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
Requirements
*Previous experience working as a chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
*Knowledge of food hygiene procedures.
*A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
*Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
*Own chef whites and knives are desirable.
