*Prepare and review statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with accounting standards.
*Plan and oversee audit assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
*Provide technical advice and support to clients on accounting and tax matters.
*Supervise and mentor junior staff, assisting with their professional development.
*Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements in all client engagements.
*Coordinate with clients to gather financial data and address any queries.
*Identify opportunities to enhance client services and contribute to business growth.
*Prepare detailed reports and present findings to both clients and senior management.
Profile
A successful Audit & Accounts Senior should have:
*Professional qualifications in accounting (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
*Strong technical knowledge in accounting, auditing, and tax regulations.
*Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members.
*Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
