Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer (Either Electrically or Mechanically qualified) to work on a prestigious High-End Residential site based in Fitzrovia.
In this position, you will be leading a team of 4 engineers and be working a 50/50 split on/off the tools.
Lead Engineer Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
*Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
*Carry out emergency lighting tests and maintenance
*Monitor and operate BMS systems
*Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors
*Ensure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completed
*Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standard
*Maintain accurate site logbooks and reports
*Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupants
*Support and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operation
Lead Engineer Requirements:
*City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanically qualified
*Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience
*Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
*Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
*Good client-facing and communication skills
*Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
Lead Engineer Salary & Benefits:£50,000 - £55,000
*Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
*Up to 25 days annual leave
