Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an established finance team in Nottingham.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this newly created role will take ownership of the month-end management accounts process, financial reporting and analysis, whilst leading a small finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a broad and commercially focused position with genuine scope to add value.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
*Lead the month-end management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
*Review Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets and supporting reconciliations
*Produce insightful financial reporting, analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
*Identify financial risks and opportunities to support decision making
*Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
*Lead the year-end and external audit process
*Maintain strong financial controls across the finance function
*Develop KPI reporting and financial analysis
*Manage, coach and support two direct reports
*Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support wider business initiatives
We’re looking for candidates with:
*Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
*Experience working within a medium to large organisation
*Strong month-end and management accounting experience
*Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
*Experience managing or mentoring finance staff
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Multi-site experience would be advantageous
*A proactive and organised approach
