Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Nottingham.


This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking for a varied management accounting role, with responsibility for supporting multiple sites and working closely with operational teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting the wider finance function.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss reporting
*Complete bank and intercompany reconciliations
*Manage accruals, prepayments and maintain the fixed asset register
*Produce variance analysis and provide commentary on performance
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Support payroll processing
*Provide financial support to operational teams, including cashing-up procedures
*Assist with continuous improvements across finance processes
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant position
*Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes
*Experience with bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
*Sage 50 experience (preferred)
*Multi-site and cost centre accounting experience (advantageous)
*Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
*A proactive, hands-on approach
