An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial lawyer to join a highly regarded in-house legal team within a major international infrastructure and logistics business.
This is a broad and commercially focused role offering exposure to complex, high-value projects, strategic business initiatives and senior stakeholder engagement across a dynamic operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting commercial growth, advising on risk, and helping drive significant business projects.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative legal team, you will provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across a diverse portfolio of matters, supporting business leaders on strategic and day-to-day legal issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
*Advising stakeholders on contract risk, legal implications and commercial solutions.
*Supporting major procurement initiatives and procurement-related legal matters.
*Advising on customer contracts and commercial arrangements.
*Supporting significant infrastructure and development projects.
*Providing legal support for strategic business growth and expansion activities.
*Working closely with senior leadership teams to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
*Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes and governance frameworks.
About You
We are keen to speak with qualified lawyers who combine strong technical ability with a pragmatic and business-focused approach.
You are likely to possess:
*Strong commercial contracts experience gained either in-house or in private practice.
*The ability to provide clear, practical and solutions-oriented legal advice.
*Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
*Confidence operating in a fast-paced, visible and evolving business environment.
*A resilient and adaptable approach with sound commercial judgement.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience within sectors such as technology, infrastructure, property, energy, logistics, transportation or other complex operational businesses would be advantageous.
Experience advising on public procurement regulations would also be beneficial, although not essential.
